๐Ÿ  What We Do

The shift to electric mobility is happening. Electra is accelerating it.

Transportation is one of Europe's biggest sources of carbon emissions. Since 2021, Electra exists to make charging so simple that electric vehicles become the obvious choice for everyone.

In 5 years, we've built a team of 300+ talents from 21 nationalities in 10 countries.

We've grown into one of Europe's leading fast-charging operators by deploying fast, reliable infrastructure and user experiences across our own network, and we're now expanding to thousands more charging points in Europe with our own eMSP.

Backed by over โ‚ฌ1 billion in funding, we're looking for bold, passionate, collaborative talents to drive Europe's energy transition.

If that sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you!

๐Ÿ’ผ Your Mission

To support Electra's growth and its ambition to deploy 2,000 fast-charging stations by 2030, you will join the HQ Procurement team for a 6-month internship starting in January 2027. Reporting to the Head of Procurement and working closely with the Lead Buyer, you will contribute to CAPEX and OPEX purchasing across technical equipment and services, including engineering services, soil surveys, utility detection, lighting poles and screens.

You will work closely with Roll Out Project Managers to support technical purchases in France and collaborate with local teams across Europe on their tenders. Alongside hands-on sourcing and project purchasing, you will help monitor supplier performance and keep our procurement knowledge base in Notion up to date, practical and actively used by the team.

๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Your Responsibilities

  1. Drive tenders and support procurement projects

    • Take ownership of tenders on assigned categories, with guidance from the Lead Buyer, from needs definition with Roll Out Project Managers through to supplier selection and project delivery

    • Source and benchmark suppliers, prepare RFQs and RFPs, and compare offers on price, quality, lead times and total cost of ownership

    • Support supplier negotiations and the preparation of suitable contracts in coordination with the Procurement and Legal teams

    • Follow up on supplier kick-offs and delivery commitments, and help resolve supplier issues or disputes

  2. Work with country teams and track procurement progress

    • Collaborate with local teams across Europe to support their tenders and share supplier insights, purchasing tools and best practices

    • Help align technical requirements and purchasing approaches with transversal teams and local stakeholders

    • Keep the tender pipeline up to date, including key milestones, expected savings and closing dates

    • Track procurement KPIs and contribute to reporting on savings, tender progress and delivery risks

  3. Steer supplier performance and improve our processes

    • Build and run supplier scorecards on key categories (quality, lead times, price evolution, incidents), incorporating feedback from completed projects

    • Work with local country teams to harmonise indicators across Europe and identify opportunities for improvement

    • Keep the procurement workspace in Notion accurate, organised and up to date, including supplier information, tender follow-ups, templates and processes

    • Contribute to the Electra Procurement Playbook and turn lessons learned into practical guidance that the team can easily find, use and maintain

๐Ÿ˜Ž Your Profile

  • You are a Master's student (M1/M2 or gap year) at a business or engineering school, with an appetite for procurement, finance or data

  • You have a business mindset: you enjoy understanding project needs, assessing commercial opportunities and finding the right balance between cost, quality and delivery timelines

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, feel comfortable engaging with suppliers and internal teams, and are keen to develop your negotiation skills

  • You are comfortable with Excel (pivot tables, offer comparisons, cost analysis) and can turn numbers into clear, actionable recommendations

  • You are rigorous, organised and proactive, with the ability to manage several topics in parallel and follow through on commitments

  • You are fluent in French and English; Spanish, Italian, German or Dutch would be a plus

  • A first experience in procurement, project management or a commercial role is a plus, but your curiosity, motivation and willingness to learn matter just as much

โšก๏ธ What Electra Offers You

  • 1 day of remote work per week

  • Meal vouchers (Swile card: โ‚ฌ10/day, 50% covered by the company)

  • 1 day off per month

  • A team event every quarter with the whole Electra team

  • A CSE platform with many benefits (culture, sports, etc.)

  • The CSE (works council) funds your subscription to Wellpass, a multi-gym access solution giving access to a large network of sports partners throughout France.

Even if your profile doesn't match 100% of every criterion, we encourage you to apply. At Electra, we strive to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, safe, and free to be themselves.

We are committed to equal opportunities and do not tolerate any discrimination based on religion, cultural background, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

๐Ÿ’š We value potential, motivation, and a learning mindset just as much as experience. ๐Ÿš€
