- Hybrid working – 2-days on-site
- Join a major €30M national fibre infrastructure project
- Find better sourcing options others might miss
The obvious supplier isn’t always the best one. You might uncover a specialist with the right capability, find a better route to market or spot a stronger commercial offer hidden in the detail. If you enjoy that search — and backing your choice with evidence — this role is for you.
You’ll put your sourcing instincts to work on a €30M national fibre programme connecting Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford and New Ross. The procurement spans civils contractors, third-party duct access, fibre deployment and specialist services, each bringing different suppliers and challenges to the table.
Working with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams, you’ll research supplier markets, test capability, develop sourcing options and take requirements through tender, evaluation and negotiation. You’ll weigh up what suppliers can offer, challenge proposals and recommend the option that best fits the project’s technical needs and commercial objectives.
This is an opportunity to broaden your sourcing expertise, build knowledge across specialist markets and turn your research into supplier appointments on a major national infrastructure programme.
Why You’ll Love This Role

What You’ll Have
- Current or recent role focused on procurement
- Experience managing tenders through evaluation and award
- Confidence assessing supplier capability, pricing and terms
- Comfortable working with project and engineering stakeholders
- Infrastructure, construction, utilities or telecoms experience beneficial
