Procurement Specialist

Location: Onsite / Hybrid / Remote: Hybrid (< 50% remote) *Responsibility of procurement for Tower and Raw Material category, especially focus on Towers. *In line with global category manager’s strategy to source and develop new potential suppliers in Asia Pacific Region. *Execution of requests for quotation, tender activities, bid comparisons and award decisions. *Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment. *Lead of supplier negotiation, contract negotiations and auction within the respective categories. *Contract implementation and master data maintenance in SAP, ARIBA and TeamCenter. *Category specific procurement controlling, continuous supplier evaluation and development. *Proactive communication with global procurement organization, cross-functional and support teams. *Strong presentation and negotiation skills. [Requirements] ▪ Bachelor degree or higher in business related studies; engineering background will be a plus. *Minimum 3 years of professional procurement experience in international environment ▪ Minimum 2 years of professional international souring experience, Steel and machined components are beneficial. ▪ Fully comfortable in bi-lingual working environment *Advanced mandarin and English, other language skills (German and Asian languages) are beneficial. ▪ Pro-active, team- and solution-oriented way of working. ▪ Good negotiation skills and knowledge in contractual administration. ▪ Good technical comprehension. ▪ Good knowledge in MS Office, SAP and ARIBA. ▪ National and International business travel up to 30%.
