Reliable Security Staffing LLC is seeking an Entry Level Procurement Specialist to join our team in Atlanta. This is a full-time, remote position that offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in procurement within the Security/Investigations industry. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by sourcing, purchasing, and managing the goods and services our company relies on to deliver trusted security staffing solutions.
In this remote role, you will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and management to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. You will gain hands-on experience in vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and inventory tracking, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability that our clients depend on. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
We offer a competitive hourly salary range of $35 - $40, along with the flexibility of remote work and the chance to develop valuable skills in procurement and supply chain management within the security industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for security-related goods and services
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support inventory monitoring and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Compare supplier quotes to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs
- Resolve order discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
- Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and performance records
- Stay informed about market trends and pricing for procured goods
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work setting
- Preferred: familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning tools
- Preferred: knowledge of the security or investigations industry
- Preferred: experience with vendor communication or negotiation
