Product Analytics Manager— High-Growth Gaming Startup Location: Remote (US-based, must be available for 9:30am ET standup) Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base + equity Experience Level: 3+ years professional experience required About the Company Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed gaming startup operating at the intersection of real-money gaming and the creator economy. With a core product already in market and generating significant revenue, they're expanding their engineering team to meet demand and build out the next generation of features. This is a high-stakes, high-impact opportunity to work on a social casino product used by thousands of players around the clock. The founding team is composed of seasoned entrepreneurs and engineers with backgrounds in crypto, gaming, and consumer tech — and they’re backed by top-tier investors. The Role This is a high-impact, build-from-near-scratch opportunity to own the analytics foundation of a rapidly scaling platform. As the Product Analytics Manager, you’ll work closely with the Analytics and Product departments to measure and optimize the in-app player experience and game performance. You won't just be maintaining a mature stack; you will stand up reliable event-tracking infrastructure as a foundational dependency. From there, you'll build out the core product dashboards, A/B testing frameworks, and churn-prediction capabilities that the rest of the organization will rely on to make critical business decisions. What You’ll Do Instrument & Validate Event Tracking: Assess and close instrumentation gaps (mobile SDK/game-engine logging like Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel) and validate data quality before diving into dashboard work. Build Core Product Dashboards: Develop and maintain core dashboards (DAU/MAU, session metrics, retention, funnel conversion) that give stakeholders reliable, self-serve visibility. Design & Analyze A/B Tests: Stand up a structured A/B testing framework for game mechanics and UI changes—defining hypotheses, sample sizes, and guardrail metrics. Lead Segmentation & Churn Prediction: Partner with the Head of Analytics to model churn and cluster behavioral segments, surfacing growth opportunities. Investigate KPI Anomalies: Identify unexpected shifts in core KPIs, determine the root causes, and deliver actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Partner on Launch Measurement: Work with Product and Game Design to establish baseline metrics and monitor early adoption signals for new feature launches. What They're Looking For: 3+ years in product/data analytics, ideally in mobile gaming or a session-based consumer app. Strong SQL fundamentals and hands-on experience with event-tracking tooling (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or a game-engine analytics SDK). Proficiency with a modern BI/visualization tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar). Solid experience with A/B testing platforms, experimental design, and statistical significance testing. Working knowledge of predictive or clustering methodologies (e.g., logistic regression, k-means) for churn or propensity modeling. A self-starter who is highly comfortable working with ambiguous, evolving data infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Bonus Points For Experience with mobile game analytics and app-store optimization (ASO). Fluency in Python or R, alongside familiarity with machine learning techniques for behavioral prediction. Prior experience operating in a regulated gaming or sweepstakes environment. Why This Role Is Exciting Remote-first and flexible. The team cares about outcomes, not hours. Work from anywhere in the U.S., or utilize the hybrid hubs in NYC and Miami. Greenfield opportunities. This is not a legacy stack. There’s massive room to shape data architecture, tooling, and processes from the ground up. Top-tier backers + market traction. The company is operating in an incredibly profitable industry and is already live with real users and revenue. Founding-team quality. You’ll work with some of the most capable operators in the space, all with prior startup successes under their belts. Note: This role is only open to candidates based in the U.S. at this time. Sponsorship is not available. Must be available for standup at 9:30 AM EST. Compensation The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
