About the Role:

The Brand Licensing Quality Specialist supports the execution of Brand Licensing Quality activities across North America and Latin America, while also providing broader product and field-quality support to the Wellbeing & Small Domestic Appliances (WB&SDA) business in North America based on business priorities.

As part of the Global Quality & Compliance organization, this role reviews product and manufacturer submissions, maintains licensee quality and performance records, supports risk-based quality assessments for prospective and existing licensees, and follows corrective actions through closure. The role also analyzes warranty, service, return, consumer, and licensee performance data to identify trends, support product-quality decisions, and reduce risk.

Working cross-functionally with Brand Licensing, Customer Service, Sales, Supplier Quality, R&D, Product Care, Product Compliance, Responsible Sourcing, licensees, and other regional and global partners, this role coordinates information, identifies gaps, supports risk-based decisions, and helps maintain consistent quality governance. Success requires strong analysis, disciplined follow-up, clear documentation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review licensed-product, manufacturer, packaging, and related quality submissions for completeness, consistency, and alignment with defined requirements; document findings and coordinate clarification or follow-up when information is missing or inconsistent.
  • Maintain accurate licensee quality and performance records, including assessment status, audit results, submission quality, agreed targets, corrective actions, performance indicators, and supporting evidence in designated systems and trackers.
  • Perform and support risk-based desktop quality assessments for prospective and existing licensees, evaluating quality-management capability, supplier controls, product-quality processes, service readiness, performance monitoring, and evidence of effective implementation.
  • Support licensee onboarding, renewal, amendment, and category-extension reviews by consolidating quality information, identifying risks and gaps, and preparing clear recommendations, conditions, actions, owners, and timing for decision checkpoints.
  • Monitor licensed-product and licensee performance using available indicators such as consumer ratings, service-call or return information, quality incidents, audit results, and product or supplier performance records; highlight negative trends and emerging risks.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive action follow-up with licensees and internal stakeholders, evaluate submitted evidence, track commitments and due dates, and escalate material risks or overdue actions through the appropriate governance process.
  • Prepare and maintain Brand Licensing quality reports, scorecards, dashboards, assessment summaries, and governance updates.
  • Support consistent communication of quality requirements, review outcomes, required actions, and escalation needs to licensees and internal stakeholders.
  • Improve standard work, templates, trackers, and reporting methods that increase the efficiency and consistency of Brand Licensing Quality execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, field quality, or product performance analysis within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle
  • Experience analyzing warranty, service, or consumer data to drive improvements
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel within North America as needed - 20%

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in consumer durable goods or appliance industries
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC)
  • Knowledge of product functionality, components, and common failure modes

Benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours/hybrid work environment (80 / 20)
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance
  • Competitive holiday and vacation time off program
  • Retirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.
  • Discounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service

Please be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
