Employment Type: Full-time (Probationary to Regular after 6-months)

Our client is a leading managed service provider for the advertising performer and entertainment supply chain across Australia and New Zealand. Since 2002, they've been simplifying contracting, compliance, and payments for agencies, production companies, and performers. They’ve scaled their SaaS ecosystem across AU, NZ, and now global markets — and are looking for a Product & Business Analyst to help shape the future of their digital products.

Role Purpose

As a Product & Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving product discovery, insight-driven decision-making, and delivery excellence in the evolution of their core platforms, including their global rights-management platform. This role bridges high-level product strategy with granular business analysis, translating complex customer and operational requirements into clear user stories, workflow designs, and scalable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Solution Design

• Work closely with stakeholders and product team members to define problem definitions, opportunity assessments, and feature requirements.
  

• Produce high-quality documentation, including product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, and journey maps.
  

• Translate complex business and operational needs into intuitive, user-centered workflow designs.
  

• Support solution design and UX workflows by creating wireframes, process flows, and low-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma.
  

Product Delivery & Agile Collaboration

• Partner with engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve design questions, support sprint planning, and unblock delivery.
  

• Collaborate with QA to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  

• Participate in release validation, post-release performance tracking, and backlog refinement.
  

Product Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with internal teams across operations, compliance, technology, sales, and client services.
  

• Facilitate workshops, user interviews, and discovery sessions with end users and external partners.
  

• Analyze customer behavior, operational data, and feedback to turn early insights into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and recommendations.
  

Product Operations & Subject Matter Expertise

• Develop deep subject matter expertise across their SaaS product ecosystem, growing into independent research and stakeholder consultation over time.
  

• Analyze support trends, operational bugs, and workflow bottlenecks to inform backlog prioritization.
  

• Provide input into support documentation, training content, and change-management materials when new features are released.
  

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–4+ years of experience as a Product & Business Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar product-focused role.
  

• Demonstrated balance between strategic product understanding and hands-on, detailed business analysis documentation.
  

• Strong analytical thinking with experience in workflow analysis, process mapping, and fundamental database principles.
  

• Hands-on experience with process mapping and wireframing tools such as Figma.
  

• Experience collaborating in Agile product delivery environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  

• Proven ability to define product requirements that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build alignment across cross-functional teams.
  

• Availability to work aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours.
  

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in B2B SaaS product environments.
  

• Experience evaluating data reports or metrics to help inform product and business requirements.
  

• Background supporting testing efforts or analyzing technical support issues.
