We support organizations through legal secondments, managed legal services and our US AI-native law firm, an Arizona ABS law firm. Powered by the Eudia platform, we bring together legal expertise, experienced professionals and technology to provide flexible, high-quality support tailored to each customer’s needs.

Whether augmenting an in-house legal team, managing a complex legal workstream or helping organizations adopt AI, Eudia Counsel provides practical solutions designed around the way modern legal teams work.

Eudia Counsel is part of Eudia, an AI company redefining the future of legal work through AI-powered Augmented Intelligence. Backed by $105M in Series A funding led by General Catalyst, Eudia works with some of the world’s largest organizations, including Cargill, Coherent, DHL and Duracell.

Together, Eudia and Eudia Counsel are building a new model bringing legal expertise and AI-powered technology together to deliver more flexible, scalable and effective solutions for legal teams.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Product Counsel to support the Global Commercial Legal Team of a leading global SaaS company on a secondment basis. Our client is a market leader with hundreds of millions of users across more than 100 countries!

You’ll work alongside the sales, marketing and compliance teams to help bring new products to market. You will also partner closely with Eudia colleagues supporting the client on privacy matters, as part of a joined-up partnership approach.

  • Engagement: Secondment, starting ASAP and running until the end of January 2027, with a high likelihood of extension
  • Location: Ireland/UK, fully remote
  • Hours: 5 days per week (30-40 hours)

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with product, design, engineering and marketing teams across the full product lifecycle, from initial conception and development through to launch and ongoing improvements, helping balance innovation with legal and commercial considerations.
  • Support global compliance across areas such as consumer protection, privacy, accessibility, and intellectual property, developing practical, scalable approaches that can be applied across international markets.
  • Partner with marketing teams on advertising campaigns, pricing, influencer partnerships, brand initiatives and promotional activities, helping ensure compliance with applicable advertising standards and consumer protection requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business, including customer support and security, to identify potential risks early and develop policies and processes that support compliant, user-friendly experiences.
  • Monitor developments in legislation and regulation, particularly in areas such as AI and digital marketplaces, and assess their implications for products, services, and business operations.
  • Take ownership of complex, high-impact projects, working with senior stakeholder and cross-functional teams to assess risks, identifying practical solutions and support wider business objectives.
  • Develop scalable processes, frameworks and resources that enable teams to work independently and efficiently while maintaining appropriate legal and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • Must be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE, with experience across product-related matters, compliance and marketing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and regulatory requirements in a clear, practical way to both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Sound commercial judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risk and identify workable solutions in a fast-paced business environment.
  • The ability to quickly understand complex legal, technical and commercial issues, adapt to changing priorities and work confidently through unfamiliar challenges.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with experience managing a varied and demanding workload across multiple teams and projects with minimal supervision.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Work within a fast-moving AI and emerging technology environment.
  • Support sophisticated, high-value commercial transactions across EMEA.
  • Work alongside experienced legal, commercial and operational professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable contracting processes and ways of working.
  • Be part of a high-impact environment where your work can have a visible impact from day one.
  • Join Eudia Counsel's growing consultant community and work on challenging, commercially focused legal projects.
