About the Role
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be working on anything related to the shipping of PreScalar’s evolving catalog of SKUs as well as designing customer focused interfaces.
You’ll work from our San Francisco office and alongside customers that include some of the leading hardware companies in the world, scoping customer specific needs as well as understanding recurring customer needs to guide our next generation of products. The pace is dynamic, as you will be working on customer specific designs one day and PreScalar product designs in another.
You will be introduced to a plethora of different technologies and implementations of technologies so a thirst for knowledge is required for this job!
What You’ll Do
- You will assist in anything and everything related to producing PreScalar’s platform
- All technical work is fair game in this role (will grab a voltmeter, run linux commands, 3D print a bracket)
- If you do not know how to do something, we will do our best to teach you
- Most importantly, you will learn in this role
What We’re Looking For
- 0-1 years of experience in a technical role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences
- A desire to build
- A thirst for knowledge
Relevant experience (one or more)
- Internships in technical roles
- Technical school projects or personal projects
Nice to have
- Electrical fabrication knowledge
- Not afraid of a hand drill
