Product Development Specialist

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Product Development Specialist. The specialist will support the identification and evaluation of new product and service opportunities within the construction sector, focusing on market trends, client needs, and operational feasibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor research, collaborating with internal teams to shape product concepts, and contributing to R&D activities that enhance existing offerings. The role also involves assisting with product lifecycle planning, collecting stakeholder feedback, preparing clear documentation and presentations, and coordinating with project and commercial teams to align product initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research and Development (R&D) skills to identify opportunities and support product innovation.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Product Management capabilities to evaluate concepts, manage requirements, and support product lifecycles.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry is beneficial, along with familiarity with remote collaboration tools and basic project management practices.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
