Product Expert D365 Finance (m/f/d)

Ref.-No.: JR1014722

Position Summary

CWS Hygiene is the market leader in sustainable hand and toilet hygiene and one of the driving forces behind a healthier, safer, and more sustainable future. Across Europe, thousands of colleagues work every day to make a difference for our customers, our communities, and the environment.

As our digital landscape continues to evolve, we are investing heavily in modern ERP capabilities and finance transformation. That is why we are looking for a Product Expert D365 Finance to join our international D365 Operations team. This role focuses on strengthening our in-house expertise and supporting the continued evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance platform.

This is a hybrid role. We are open to candidates based in Germany or Romania. Candidates should be willing to travel occasionally to support workshops, stakeholder meetings, and project-related activities across Europe.

Mission

Finance transformation is a key strategic priority within CWS Hygiene. In this role, you will help shape and continuously improve our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance landscape while supporting international deployments across multiple European countries.

You will become the go-to expert for Dynamics 365 Finance within the organization. Working closely with Finance stakeholders, Product Managers, Developers, Architects, Key Users, and external implementation partners, you will translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable ERP solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.

What makes this role unique is the combination of ownership, international collaboration, and transformation impact. You will not simply support an existing platform. You will actively contribute to the rollout, optimization, and future development of our D365 Finance capabilities while helping build internal expertise and reducing dependency on external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will take ownership of the functional Dynamics 365 Finance domain and help ensure that our Finance solutions continue to evolve in line with business requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Your work will include gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops, translating requirements into functional solutions, and supporting implementation activities across different countries. You will contribute to Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and related Finance operations.
  • You will support change requests, testing activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), releases, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with business users to ensure that solutions remain aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • You will contribute to international D365 Finance rollouts, supporting country organizations during implementation, adoption, and stabilization phases.
  • As our internal D365 Finance expert, you will play an important role in strengthening our in-house capabilities, driving knowledge sharing, and creating sustainable solutions that support long-term business growth.

Requirements

At CWS Hygiene, we know that technical expertise is only part of the story. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, takes ownership, and has a genuine passion for improving Finance processes through technology.

Ideally, you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a comparable field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, Product Expert, or equivalent role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into system solutions.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, international rollouts, or Finance transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Procure-to-Pay, Fixed Assets, Controlling, or Record-to-Report.
  • Experience with testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and change management activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience with SAP FI, Oracle Finance, Shared Service Center environments, or German language skills is considered an advantage.

What do we offer?

Working at CWS Hygiene means joining an international organization where collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.

You will become part of a supportive environment where people are encouraged to learn, contribute ideas, and grow professionally. We offer the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, collaborate with colleagues across Europe, and make a visible impact on strategic ERP and Finance transformation initiatives.

In addition, we offer an attractive compensation package with a competitive base salary, depending on your country of residence and relevant experience. We also offer flexible working arrangements, modern IT equipment, and a culture that values both personal and professional development.
