Product Expert - Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Commerce

What you'll bring

You have deep expertise in product strategy, cross-functional leadership, and the full product lifecycle. Your product decisions are grounded in data and clear to communicate.

• Experience owning Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), omnichannel, or digital commerce products in enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) environments
• Ability to define product roadmaps, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Track record of leading product discovery and delivery in Agile environments, with experience mentoring other product managers
• Technical fluency in cloud-native architectures, application programming interfaces (APIs), and distributed systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills — able to advocate for product direction and align teams across organisational boundaries
• Degree not required for this role.

In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs and automating routine tasks, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams.

What you'll build

You will lead product strategy and delivery for D2C commerce within SAP Order Management — guiding discovery cycles, defining multi-quarter roadmaps, and aligning engineering, design, marketing, and partner teams.

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for D2C commerce capabilities
• Engage customers, partners, and stakeholders to validate opportunities and refine product direction
• Collaborate with Engineering and User Experience (UX) teams to deliver cloud-native, API-first capabilities at enterprise scale
• Mentor other product managers and establish frameworks for how the team approaches discovery and experimentation
• Use product analytics, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to evaluate product performance and guide improvement
• Support Product Marketing, Sales, and Solution Management with product positioning, demonstrations, and roadmap communication

You'll join the Customer Experience (CX) Order Management product team at SAP, shaping how product management is practised across your area and beyond. Your influence comes from the quality of your thinking and the strength of your relationships — working without formal authority over engineering or design. You'll collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX colleagues across multiple locations. This is a hybrid role based at our Montreal office.

Compensation Range Transparency

The salary range for this position is included in the job posting. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will fall within that range and will depend on factors such as education, skills, experience, location, and scope of the role, as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
