About the Role
A healthcare technology company is hiring its first dedicated Product Lead to own the product domain and connect customer insights with product delivery. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the roadmap and help the organization focus on product work that improves customer outcomes and supports growth.
What You'll Do
Learn hospital operations and frontline workflows, then turn customer conversations into actionable product insights.
Own and communicate the product roadmap, prioritizing requests and deciding what reaches engineering.
Write clear product requirements and partner with engineering and design to deliver features efficiently.
Manage product tools and define business metrics for features and roadmap initiatives.
Build the product analytics strategy, including what to measure and how results should inform decisions.
Improve the experience for nurse managers and track product performance through retention and buyer value.
Triage support tickets and partner requests, balancing customer needs with commercial opportunity.
Build prototypes independently using AI-assisted tools where useful.
What We're Looking For
Seven to ten years of product management experience in health technology, including recent commercial ownership such as revenue, pricing, or go-to-market outcomes.
Experience at an early-stage health technology startup and as a sole or founding product manager responsible for a broad product area.
Background building operational workflow products for health system decision-makers, rather than clinical or consumer health products.
A hands-on, individual-contributor approach, with experience building prototypes using tools such as Cursor, Replit, or v0.
Technical fluency with data models, backend tradeoffs, and platform architecture, plus experience with SQL and product analytics instrumentation.
Strong customer communication, prioritization, and commercial judgment.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $200,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in New York, New York, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.
