Role Description

We are looking for a product-minded generalist who can understand user problems, translate them into product improvements, and help deliver a simple, effective experience for both athletes and race organizers.

As an early team member, you will work closely with the founding team to shape the product roadmap, research user needs, design workflows, and prioritize improvements based on business impact.

This is a hands-on role combining product thinking, UX research, wireframing, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of athletes, race organizers, and other platform users.

  • Conduct user interviews, competitor research, and product discovery.

  • Identify friction points in race discovery, event listing, onboarding, and registration.

  • Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and product specifications.

  • Translate business goals into clear requirements and actionable tasks.

  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on user value, urgency, and business impact.

  • Work with engineers to clarify requirements and validate delivered features.

  • Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate product testing and user acceptance testing before releases.

  • Establish a continuous feedback loop with users and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Understanding of product development, user experience, and digital products.

  • Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using tools such as Figma.

  • Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.

  • Comfort working with engineers and translating business requirements into product specifications.

  • A structured approach to prioritization, experimentation, and decision-making.

Good to Have

  • Experience working with a startup, marketplace, SaaS product, or consumer application.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools and product metrics.

  • Experience conducting usability testing or user research.

  • Interest in sports, fitness, endurance events, or community-driven platforms.

What We Expect From You

  • You focus on solving user problems rather than simply adding features.

  • You can make decisions with incomplete information and validate assumptions quickly.

  • You take ownership of product outcomes from discovery to release.

  • You balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.

  • You are comfortable working in a lean team without extensive processes.

Who Should Apply: Product generalists who enjoy turning ambiguous problems into clear, useful product experiences.
