This role requires to be onsite in a hybrid model in our San Jose, CA office.
Meet the Team
Cisco Cloud Control gives IT teams one place to work across networking, security, compute, observability, and collaboration, including AI-assisted tasks.
Its shared services cover identity, tenancy, access, assets, topology, telemetry, search, navigation, audit, and actions used by AI Canvas, the AI Assistant, and Cloud Control Studio.
The integrations team connects Cisco products to these services while keeping the features customers rely on.
Work with product, engineering, design, security, and identity teams across Cisco. Help make cross-domain operations simpler for customers!
Your Impact
Own how Cisco products integrate with Cloud Control, while the product teams own their products and platform teams own their services; set portfolio plans, owners, dependencies, sequence, and launch dates.
Define integration tiers, what each tier includes, and shared requirements for identity, entitlements, navigation, telemetry, AI context, and user experience; resolve exceptions that would make products inconsistent.
Build a self-service path with contracts, APIs, sample integrations, sandboxes, validation tools, and a checklist so product teams can launch without routine one-to-one support.
Write requirements and acceptance criteria; prioritize work with engineering, design, and Cisco Unified Identity; represent product and platform teams in planning across Cisco business units and time zones; align security, legal, privacy, support, and go-to-market partners.
Track integration time, self-service adoption, defects, and downstream use; in year one, assign an owner, plan, and tier to each current integration, make the checklist standard, get most new integrations to production without hands-on help, and reduce time to launch.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors + 8 years of related experience, or Masters + 6 years of related experience, or PhD + 3 years of related experience
- Owned a platform, developer platform, or internal service used by at least two product teams, including roadmap and launch decisions.
- Experience delivering an integration from planning through production with at least two product teams, documenting requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Released a self-service capability with a documented API or integration contract, onboarding instructions, and validation tools.
- Managed a software-as-a-service or cloud product with multi-tenancy, identity and access controls, entitlements, and cloud operations.
- Produced a decision brief of one page or less that records options, a decision, an owner, and next steps for executive and engineering stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipped a product capability using artificial intelligence or machine learning, with knowledge of identity and tool-access needs for agentic workflows.
- Worked on a platform consolidation or migration that moved products onto shared identity, navigation, or data services.
- Worked in networking, security, or observability products, or shipped cloud products across regions with data-residency requirements.
- Worked with engineers on micro-frontend architectures, API gateways, or shared user experience components.
- Built or operated a partner or developer program with certification, integration tiers, or self-service onboarding.
