How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:
At Paula’s Choice, we pride ourselves in providing an inspiring DTC destination for skincare lovers and truth seekers. To support our growth in the US and AU, we are searching for a Product Manager to manage and advance the day-to-day roadmap that optimizes the customer journey across our DTC site on Shopify, from first visit and product discovery through checkout, post-purchase, and repeat purchase.
This role will contribute directly to conversion, AOV, and LTV. You will help own the always-on roadmap: prioritizing what ships next, coordinating work with UX and Engineering, and making sure releases are measured and learned from. You will also turn customer insight and data into clear stories that align creative, merchandising, and engineering partners around shared priorities.
You will partner closely with UX, Engineering, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and Merchandising to deliver customer-centric experiences. Your strategic mindset and analytical skills will help identify the highest-value friction points and opportunities, while your product leadership will bring them to life through Agile workflows. Your curiosity about Shopify, UX, and evolving digital trends will keep Paula’s Choice ahead of the curve in how customers discover, engage with, and repurchase our products.
As Product Manager, a typical day might include a mix of the following
- Managing the day-to-day DTC roadmap: prioritizing, sequencing, and helping unblock work across the Shopify site, checkout, and post-purchase experiences
- Mapping the end-to-end customer journey and using analytics, session data, and customer feedback to find friction and the highest-value opportunities
- Partnering with UX to turn research and insight into designs, prototypes, and A/B tests that improve conversion, AOV, and retention
- Breaking down business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and working with Engineering and development partners to ship in Agile sprints on Shopify (themes, apps, and checkout)
- Running the experimentation backlog: hypotheses, test design, readouts, and rollout decisions
- Supporting the story behind the roadmap: preparing clear business cases, test readouts, and recommendations that help leadership, marketing, and merchandising understand priorities and trade-offs
- Partnering with CRM, Creative, and Marketing so site experiences stay aligned with campaigns, promotions, and launches
- Measuring impact with KPIs (conversion, AOV, LTV, retention), reporting results, and iterating to optimize
- Researching and benchmarking competitors, Shopify apps and platform features, and personalization tools to keep Paula’s Choice at the forefront of the customer experience
The details
- Location: Fully remote, US based
- Hours: Typical PST business hours, some flexibility required
- Physical requirements: Ability to handle both long periods of sitting and long periods of screen time
- Travel requirements: Up to 10%
What you’ll bring to the table
- 3+ years of product management, digital product, ecommerce, or DTC customer experience, with demonstrated ability to manage a product backlog or roadmap
- Hands-on Shopify experience: you know how themes, apps, and checkout work, and you can partner with developers to scope, ship, and QA changes on the platform
- Strong UX instincts and experience working side by side with designers on research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing, with a mobile-first mindset
- Strong communication and storytelling: you can turn data and customer insight into clear roadmaps, recommendations, and business cases for cross-functional partners, in writing and in person
- Proven ability to manage a day-to-day roadmap or backlog: prioritizing work, sequencing releases, and balancing trade-offs across stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, KPI tracking, and leveraging analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI, Quantum Metrics)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
What can help you really stand out
- Shopify Plus experience, including checkout customization and working with agency or in-house developers
- Experience with CRO and experimentation frameworks
- Klaviyo, SFCC, and/or SFMC experience
- Experience with personalization platforms, recommendation engines, or CDPs, and curiosity about how AI can improve the shopping journey
- B2C ecommerce experience with a focus on customer acquisition and retention
What we offer you:
- A robust benefits package including health, vision, dental, retirement and more
- Flexible spending account, Employee assistance program
- Fitness perks, meditation app membership and more
- Product samples and discounts
- Generous PTO
