About the Role

We are looking for a technical, hands-on Product Manager, AI Platform to join a growing AI startup as an early member of its product team.

In this role, you'll help build AI-powered solutions that simplify business operations, automate manual processes, and improve everyday workflows. You'll work closely with customers, engineers, and company leadership to develop practical, scalable products that solve real customer problems.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who started their career in software engineering, transitioned into product management, and enjoys building products from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and improve the user experience.
• Lead the development of AI-powered products and features from concept to launch.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions.
• Build quick prototypes, gather feedback, and continuously improve products.
• Modernize legacy systems and replace manual, workflow-heavy processes with scalable solutions.
• Balance customer needs with technical feasibility and business priorities.
• Own key product metrics, including adoption, usage, customer satisfaction (NPS), and overall product performance.
• Work directly with founders and leadership to shape product strategy and priorities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering experience before transitioning into product management.
• Product management experience at a Series A–D startup.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; a degree from a top-50 university is preferred.
• Strong technical background, ideally as a full-stack software engineer or founding engineer.
• Experience building and managing B2B SaaS products.
• Experience owning operational, workflow-heavy products or modernizing legacy platforms.
• Strong understanding of product development, software architecture, and engineering processes.
• Ability to spend approximately 50% of your time working with customers and 50% collaborating with engineering teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and taking on responsibilities outside traditional product management.
• Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on, low-ego approach.
• Passion for understanding user needs and creating products that deliver measurable value.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, health-tech, or financial services.
• Experience building AI-powered products or working with AI platforms.
• Experience developing products from 0 to 1.
• Experience using AI tools to prototype and validate product ideas.
• Proven success improving product adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
