Product Manager - internal systems
En NortalOverview
As Product Manager for Internal Systems, you will own a portfolio of products that support Nortal's internal operations. You will set product vision, strategy, and roadmaps while balancing internal customer, business, and technical priorities.
You will identify and validate product opportunities against user needs and business value, then define the roadmap to deliver them. You will work independently in a dedicated, cross-functional team and partner with Product Owners to bring solutions to life.
What you will do
- Understand internal customers, end users, competing and complementary products, and the wider market.
- Map and manage product stakeholders, and keep internal customers and product teams aligned on product plans and progress.
- Gather customer feedback and use it to refine the product roadmap.
- Define value propositions, business models, product vision, strategy, and business cases for internal products and solutions.
- Size opportunities, run experiments, and define and monitor product success criteria and KPIs.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, scope, and user needs to stakeholders across Nortal.
- Manage a portfolio roadmap with internal customers and Product Owners, coordinating multiple products, streams, dependencies, and scope.
- Work with Product Owners to align backlog priorities with the roadmap, and with architects to align technical decisions, sustainability, and technical debt management with product strategy.
- Maintain visibility of resource allocation across teams and projects, coordinate with other internal application projects, and lead internal integration work.
- Support change management with stakeholders and clients with different levels of readiness, including beyond implementation handover.
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of domain knowledge in company operations, HR management, finance, and/or reporting, plus experience working in a medium-scale digital transformation program and integrations.
- A strong background in business and/or systems analysis.
- Understanding of research, design, engineering, data analysis, company operations, and HR processes.
- Experience with core company systems such as ERP, HRIS, document management, and PSA systems.
- Ability to use business-case validation methods and identify current and future internal customer and end-user needs.
- Experience managing larger, multi-stream projects, including dependencies, scope, and resource planning.
- Understanding of licensing and development costs, product value, and return on investment.
- Practical AI development experience, such as building prototypes or using AI in development, rather than prompt writing alone.
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, facilitation, product planning, and roadmap creation skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, familiarity with delivery approaches such as Scrum and project management principles, and the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
