Purpose of Role

Responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, and successful delivery of highly strategic, complex, or business-critical products and capabilities that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes. Partners with Engineering, Design, PMO, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Sales, Marketing, and senior business stakeholders to define product strategy, influence investment priorities, navigate organizational complexity, and deliver scalable solutions that align with company objectives. Leads product strategy, discovery, roadmap development, prioritization, and cross functional alignment while mentoring Product Managers and contributing to the continued evolution of Product Management practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Leads strategic customer discovery across complex product domains.
  • Anticipates emerging customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Synthesizes research, analytics, and customer insights into long term product strategy.
  • Owns long term strategy and roadmap for highly strategic or complex products.
  • Aligns product investments with enterprise objectives.
  • Makes complex prioritization and investment tradeoff decisions.
  • Influences portfolio planning and long-term product direction.
  • Leads delivery of large scale or highly complex initiatives.
  • Partners closely with Engineering and Design to solve difficult product challenges.
  • Balances innovation, scalability, technical debt, operational excellence, and compliance.
  • Ensures product decisions maximize long-term customer and business value.
  • Influences senior leaders across business and technology organizations.
  • Builds alignment across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Represents Product Management in strategic planning discussions.
  • Owns business outcomes for strategic product areas.
  • Defines success measures and evaluates investment performance.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
  • Mentors Associate Product Managers and Product Managers.
  • Contributes to the evolution of Product Management standards, practices, and operating models.
  • Champions customer centric, outcome driven product management throughout the organization.
  • Shares knowledge and elevates product thinking across cross functional teams.
  • Identifies opportunities to use artificial intelligence, automation, data, digital capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve customer and business outcomes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • SVP, Product Management

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies

  • Minimum 7 years of Product Management or related experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading highly strategic or complex products.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional customer discovery, roadmap development, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience mentoring Product Managers and improving product management practices.
  • Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience working within Agile product organizations.

Qualifications - Education - Required

  • Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications - Education - Field(s)/Profession(s)

  • Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications - Education - Preferred

  • Master's degree

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is ($150,000 - $200,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
