Product Manager, Supply Chain

About the Role

This is an end-to-end ownership role for the supply chain vertical at a B2B SaaS company building a factory operating system for hardware manufacturers. You will define and drive the product strategy for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP modules, sitting at the intersection of deep manufacturing domain expertise and fast-moving software delivery.

What You'll Do

• Own the supply chain product roadmap, setting strategy and priorities across procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.

• Spend time on factory floors with supply chain directors and procurement leads to deeply understand operational pain points and translate them into product decisions.

• Write clear specs and wireframes, and build functional prototypes using AI-assisted tools to move quickly alongside the engineering team.

• Run data queries, navigate APIs, and occasionally contribute code to validate ideas and unblock delivery.

• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, customer success, and sales to ship features that deliver measurable ROI.

• Analyze inventory flow metrics, user behavior, and customer feedback to validate hypotheses and continuously improve outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 10 years of experience spanning manufacturing, supply chain, and product management.

• Proven ability to build functional prototypes and write technical specs grounded in complex domain logic.

• Hands-on experience with Python, React, SQL/PostgreSQL, AWS, and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite or SAP), MES, and PLM platforms.

• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools.

• Demonstrated track record of aligning engineering, design, sales, and customers across functional teams.

• Comfort on the factory floor as well as in technical and executive conversations.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $175,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

Hybrid arrangement based in Los Angeles, California, United States. Candidates in Austin, Seattle, or Denver may also be considered.
