About the Role

Own the supply chain product area at an industrial manufacturing software company. You will turn complex factory and hardware supply chain workflows into practical software, working closely with customers and engineering to improve procurement, inventory, and traceability.

What You'll Do

  • Set the roadmap and product strategy for procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.

  • Visit customer factory floors and work with procurement and supply chain leaders to understand operational challenges.

  • Translate domain workflows into technical specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in partnership with engineering.

  • Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code where useful.

  • Coordinate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver features that support customer outcomes and onboarding.

  • Review inventory metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to evaluate results and guide iteration.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to ten years of experience across product management, software engineering or hands-on coding, and manufacturing or supply chain operations.

  • Experience taking software features from customer research through launch, with a background in procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, logistics, or traceability.

  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, or related tools, and familiarity with ERP, MES, or PLM systems.

  • Ability to build functional prototypes and explain complex operational logic through clear technical specifications.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.

  • Exposure to manufacturing or advanced hardware industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive.
