About the Role
In this role, you will be driving the evaluation of and integration with industry leading AI tax prep capabilities across H&R Block's end-to-end client journey. You will be surrounded by talented Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, UX Designers, Product Marketing Managers and a focused Senior Leadership Team that knows how to win by putting the client first. A curiosity to innovate combined with deep customer empathy and individual income tax domain knowledge will help you succeed in this role.
Day to day you'll...
- Drive product discovery, strategy, and delivery for experiences across the tax preparation journey
- Partner with engineers, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders to solve customer problems
- Prioritize opportunities using customer insights, data, and business objectives
- Define requirements and guide products from idea through launch
- Measure outcomes and continuously improve the client experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Introduction to formal product management methodologies
- 3 years minimum related work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Introduction to structured technology delivery/software development lifecycles
- PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent
- Individual income tax consultation or return preparation
- Experimentation rigor -- observation, hypothesis definition, experiment design and instrumentation, measurement, and non-biased observations of results for the purpose of deciding whether to persevere or pivot
