Our award-winning graduate programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in global financial markets.

Your graduate year will be split equally between a Product and Market Planning team within the Risk Intelligence (RI) Division (6 months per rotation). LSEG RI is at the forefront of building a safer, more trusted global financial ecosystem by helping organisations identify risk, combat financial crime and make informed decisions.

Risk Intelligence is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic areas of LSEG, operating in a constantly evolving landscape where new technologies, emerging risks and changing customer needs create endless opportunities for innovation and growth.

We are looking for graduates who are curious about financial, reputational, legal and regulatory risks, and how we can utilise technology and data-driven insights to capture the market. A successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to understand global markets (market planning) whilst learning how to transform those insights into customer solutions (product).

To be eligible you must be a graduate who has completed your studies in 2026 or a final year undergraduate or master’s student who will have completed all the requirements of your course before September 2027. Our graduates join us on a permanent, full-time basis, and from day one you will be aligned to Risk Intelligence, allowing you to learn and develop with career stability.

Rotation scope:

Product Management:

  • Identify customer and market needs, shape product strategy and roadmaps, and translate opportunities into solutions that address real risk and business challenges
  • Work with customers, sales, engineering, marketing and other stakeholders to understand pain points, validate ideas and ensure products deliver meaningful customer and commercial value
  • Drive products and features through the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch, optimisation and growth, using data and customer insights to guide decisions undefined

Market Planning:

  • Identify research opportunities by synthesising competitor intelligence, regulatory developments, and internal insights
  • Develop commercial models to steer pricing and strategic decisions
  • Contribute your expertise to thought leadership, industry conferences and wider stakeholder engagement

What we are looking for:

We are passionate about recruiting people who want to understand the full breadth of LSEG, how it fits together, how it functions – and are interested in playing a part of our development, as it grows and diversifies.  We are looking for people who understand that success is not just about what you achieve, but how you achieve it

General Skills:

  • You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, which could be from a risk or legal prospective which you have built through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities
  • Individuals who can connect the dots and think strategically
  • A curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions
  • The environment we work in is fast paced, you will need to demonstrate focus, resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands
  • People who can collaborate with others, demonstrating strong communication skills. This will include managing internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Ideal candidates will have the right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the graduate programme and join us on a permanent basis from day one

Highlights of the graduate programme:

  • Progress through a 12-month development journey aiming to build foundational skills that are key for future success
  • Build your foundational knowledge of LSEG and broader Financial Markets
  • Divisional-led inductions to immerse graduates into the business through team-led overviews and introductions
  • Participate in group projects which are aligned to LSEG goals and values
  • Meet your international graduate cohort at ‘Ignite Week’, the programme’s mid-point where you will consolidate key skills and explore new knowledge areas
  • Access opportunities to earn industry recognized qualifications, where we provide 5 study days throughout programme
  • Connect with global Early Careers’ community, opportunities and contribute to wider society via CSR initiatives and volunteering opportunities

Applications close: 28 November. However, we recommend an early application because we consider candidates on a rolling basis. Due to the volume of applications, we might close the applications early, so we recommend applying as soon as possible.

Recruitment process:

  • The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume
  • The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG
  • The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
  • The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite
