About KaChick
KaChick is building tools and experiences that help people create, capture, and keep meaningful memories.
For photographers, KaChick provides a smart AI Assistant that helps reduce repetitive customer-enquiry work. Photographers can add details such as their services, packages, pricing, locations, policies, portfolio links, frequently asked questions, and other business information, allowing KaChick to support customer conversations and guide people towards an enquiry or booking path.
We are also building a broader platform that helps photographers turn their craft and local knowledge into discoverable, bookable photo experiences for travellers, couples, families, and visitors.
Our belief is simple:
Technology should create more room for human moments.
We automate the boring. Not the love.
KaChick is building from Asia, with early focus in Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and selected Southeast Asian markets.
The role
KaChick is looking for a creative, commercially curious, and hands-on Product Marketing & Community Associate with around 2–3 years of relevant experience.
You will work directly with the founder to help make KaChick clear, compelling, and useful for photographers and customers. You will support photographer acquisition and onboarding, product launches, product education, social and creator campaigns, community building, user research, and early market-development tests across Southeast Asia.
This is not a pure social-media role, and it is not a conventional Product Manager role focused only on roadmap planning or engineering tickets.
You will sit at the intersection of product, marketing, community, and customer insight. Your work will help KaChick move people from first discovery to active use:
Discover → Understand → Sign up → Set up → Activate → Give feedback → Refer
This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role. You will not be expected to define KaChick’s long-term strategy alone, but you will be expected to turn ambiguity into practical experiments, user insights, strong launch materials, and measurable progress.
What you will do
Product marketing and positioning
- Help translate KaChick’s products and capabilities into clear, compelling messages for photographers, creators, travellers, and customers.
- Support KaChick’s core photographer proposition: helping photographers reduce repetitive enquiry work, organise important customer information, guide enquiries towards booking, and build more time for their craft.
- Support the broader KaChick story: helping photographers make their craft and local knowledge discoverable through bookable photo experiences.
- Conduct lightweight market, competitor, customer, and photographer research to improve positioning, customer understanding, and campaign ideas.
- Help develop and improve messaging frameworks, value propositions, customer pain points, product explainers, FAQs, landing-page copy, onboarding messages, email sequences, outreach scripts, and sales/partner materials.
- Gather evidence from user interviews, DMs, calls, social comments, onboarding conversations, and product testing to identify what audiences understand, what they value, and where messaging is unclear.
Photographer acquisition and activation
- Research, identify, and build a high-quality pipeline of photographers in priority cities and categories.
- Find suitable photographers through Instagram, portfolios, referrals, photography communities, creator networks, local directories, relevant groups, and other appropriate channels.
- Conduct thoughtful, personalised outreach through Instagram DMs, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other approved channels.
- Qualify photographer prospects based on their work, city, customer fit, category, reliability, and willingness to participate as an early user.
- Help recruit and activate KaChick’s Founding Photographer cohorts and other early-adopter programmes.
- Support photographers from first conversation through sign-up, setup, active use, feedback, referral, and advocacy.
- Help photographers prepare the information required to use KaChick effectively, including services, packages, pricing, policies, location details, portfolio links, FAQs, customer information, and local knowledge.
- Follow up consistently to help photographers complete meaningful setup steps and gain real value from KaChick.
Product launch and customer education
- Support the founder in preparing and executing product launches, feature releases, photographer-growth campaigns, customer campaigns, and market experiments.
- Turn launch direction into practical plans, checklists, timelines, owners, required assets, risks, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain a clear launch tracker across product, design, development, content, outreach, onboarding, partnerships, and customer communication.
- Help prepare launch materials including launch briefs, product explainers, landing-page copy, onboarding guides, email and DM sequences, FAQs, campaign briefs, customer communications, and basic presentation materials.
- Test key photographer and customer flows before launch, including landing pages, forms, links, sign-up, onboarding, product setup, AI Assistant setup, enquiry paths, CTAs, and booking/inquiry pathways.
- Identify unclear instructions, broken links, missing information, user-experience issues, customer objections, and activation blockers.
- Maintain a simple product-status tracker showing what is live, testing, planned, and coming soon.
Community, creator collaboration, and content
- Help build an engaged photographer community around KaChick.
- Support photographer Spotlights, founder/creator stories, early-user case studies, testimonials, local guide content, referral initiatives, feedback sessions, and community communications.
- Coordinate Instagram Collabs and other creator collaborations, including outreach, permissions, asset collection, content briefing, caption drafting, review, links, CTAs, Story sharing, and post-launch performance review.
- Support the planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of KaChick content across Instagram, Stories, Reels, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other relevant channels.
- Turn photographer pain points, product updates, customer questions, local insights, and founder direction into useful content and campaign concepts.
What success looks like
You will help KaChick become more focused, customer-informed, launch-ready, and easier to grow.
Success includes:
- A reliable pipeline of high-quality photographers in selected priority markets.
- More photographers moving from first contact to meaningful conversation, sign-up, complete setup, active use, feedback, referral, and collaboration.
- Faster and clearer onboarding, with fewer repeated questions and activation blockers.
- Stronger product messaging and customer education that make KaChick easier to understand.
- Product launches and campaigns with clear objectives, owners, assets, timelines, testing steps, and measurement.
- Community and social activity that creates qualified conversations, active users, useful product feedback, referrals, customer enquiries, and credible proof—not only followers or impressions.
- Clear evidence about which customer segments, markets, messages, channels, and partnerships are worth pursuing.
- Less founder time spent on chasing routine follow-ups, updating trackers, coordinating launch tasks, collecting assets, and managing day-to-day operational details.
