Position Overview

The Product Marketing Manager leads go-to-market strategy and marketing for Connect2, HealthierHere’s B2B software platform that helps communities build and sustain information and referral infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position defines how Connect2 is positioned, packaged, launched, and grown, and works across Product, Customer Success, Sales and business development, and Communications to turn product capabilities into customer value.

During a critical growth period, the Product Marketing Manager will build the messaging, sales enablement, demand generation, and customer marketing programs that support Connect2’s adoption and long-term sustainability. The role combines the rigor of technology product marketing with an understanding of the community-based organizations, health systems, government agencies, and funders that Connect2 serves.

The ideal candidate is a strategic product marketer who translates market and customer insight into clear positioning, compelling stories, and measurable pipeline. They are comfortable working in HubSpot, partnering closely with product and customer-facing teams, and using data to guide decisions, along with a deep commitment to equity and community health.

Key Responsibilities

Positioning, Messaging, and Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and maintain Connect2 positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for each key audience, including community-based organizations, health systems, government agencies, funders, and technology and implementation partners
  • Own the Connect2 go-to-market strategy, including ideal customer profile and buyer persona definition, packaging and pricing input, launch plans, and competitive positioning
  • Conduct and synthesize market, competitor, and customer research to inform product and marketing decisions
  • Partner with Connect2 Customer Relations Management team on the product roadmap, release communications, and feature launches, and translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits

Demand Generation and Pipeline

  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns that generate qualified leads and move prospects through the Connect2 pipeline, including email, landing pages, paid and organic social, webinars, events, and content
  • Manage Connect2 marketing operations in HubSpot, including campaigns, forms, lists, workflows, lead scoring, and lifecycle stages, in coordination with the Marketing Operations and Communications Manager
  • Partner with business development staff on lead handoff, pipeline stages, and feedback loops between the departments
  • Track and report on funnel and campaign performance, and use results to optimize spend, messaging, and channel mix

Sales and Customer Enablement

  • Create sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts, FAQs, pricing sheets, and guides
  • Partner with Customer Success and Customer Relationship Managers on onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion marketing, including customer newsletters and the customer knowledge base
  • Develop customer stories, testimonials, and proof points that show Connect2’s impact, in partnership with the Multimedia Storyteller and customers

Thought Leadership and Partnerships

  • Develop thought leadership, conference submissions, webinars, and speaking engagements that establish Connect2 as a leader in community information and referral infrastructure
  • Support partner and co-marketing relationships with technology, implementation, and network partners
  • Represent Connect2 at conferences, convenings, and industry events as needed

Collaboration and Project Management

  • Work from completed creative briefs and coordinate design, video, and copy needs with the Senior Brand Designer, Multimedia Storyteller, and Communications Specialist
  • Manage relevant vendors and consultants and track deliverables against approved budgets and timelines
  • Contribute to the organizational editorial calendar and ensure Connect2 content stays consistent with the HealthierHere parent brand

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, B2B marketing, or go-to-market roles, preferably for a software or technology product
  • Demonstrated success developing positioning and messaging and launching products or features
  • Experience building and running demand generation programs and reporting on pipeline and campaign performance
  • Deep and demonstrated personal commitment to advancing equity and social justice, and strong alignment with HealthierHere’s organizational values; demonstrated ability to engage individuals respectfully and effectively from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives in deadline-driven environments

Technical Proficiency

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform and CRM, including email, landing pages, forms, workflows, lists, and reporting
  • Experience with digital analytics tools and the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Experience using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, and workflow efficiency

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain technical products in plain language
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including customer interviews and competitive analysis
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; adept at building relationships with product, sales, customer, and partner teams
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing SaaS or health and social care technology to institutional buyers such as health systems, government agencies, or nonprofits
  • Familiarity with community information and referral, social care networks, or social determinants of health
  • Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub Enterprise or HubSpot certifications
  • Experience with pricing and packaging, sales enablement, or account-based marketing
  • Familiarity with King County, its populations, and its social, clinical, and tribal service landscape
