Company Description
Product Marketing Africa is dedicated to equipping, connecting, and elevating product marketing professionals across the continent to drive product–market fit, user adoption, and sustainable growth in the digital economy.
The organization helps African startups bridge the gap between complex technology and diverse local markets with specialized product marketing expertise. Through initiatives like a 8-weeks cohort-based scholarship program, localized tools, and ongoing training, the community provides practical, market-specific resources rather than theory alone.
Members gain access to templates, masterclasses, networking, mentorship, and a dedicated job board, all tailored to the African tech ecosystem. Over 5,000 marketers already engage with the community to learn, grow, and accelerate their careers in product marketing.
Role Description
The Product Marketing Scholarship Participant role is a full-time, remote position within the PMM Launchpad Scholarship program. Participants will engage in structured learning, including cohort sessions, masterclasses, AMAs, and portfolio workshops focused on product marketing in African markets.
Day-to-day activities include completing assignments, building and refining product marketing artifacts (such as positioning documents, battlecards, and go-to-market plans), and applying frameworks to real or simulated startup scenarios.
The role also involves active participation in peer discussions, mentorship sessions, and community events, as well as contributing to localized insights and case studies. Scholarship participants are expected to demonstrate initiative, collaborate with other professionals, and consistently apply feedback to build a strong product marketing portfolio.
