Clinical Ink is seeking a Product Owner to join our Product Management team based remotely across the United States! The Product Owner manages the roadmap and backlog for an assigned product stream, translating business and stakeholder needs into prioritized requirements and actionable user stories. This role drives delivery by setting sprint and release goals, coordinating dependencies, removing roadblocks, and tracking performance against key objectives. The Product Owner partners with development teams and internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, incorporate feedback, and support successful releases through documentation and training. Job Description
Clinical Ink is seeking a Product Owner to join our Product Management team based remotely across the United States! The Product Owner manages the roadmap and backlog for an assigned product stream, translating business and stakeholder needs into prioritized requirements and actionable user stories. This role drives delivery by setting sprint and release goals, coordinating dependencies, removing roadblocks, and tracking performance against key objectives. The Product Owner partners with development teams and internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, incorporate feedback, and support successful releases through documentation and training. This role's responsibilities include:
- Create and manage product roadmap for given product stream
- Drive execution against roadmap by setting sprint and release goals, tracking KPIs, and removing team roadblocks
- Manage all aspects of the backlog from use case drafting, requirement/user story creation and prioritization, to grooming, and acceptance
- Effectively manage cross team dependencies with fellow product team members
- Schedule and conduct agile meetings (daily scrums, grooming, and planning) with Solutions Development team members to ensure successful execution against requirements and feature deliverables
- Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency about deliverables and gain feedback as input to feature definition and development
- Contribute to release notes, product documentation, and training of cross functional team members for release readiness
- Advocate for Agile software development practices amongst your team.
- Regularly present to and communicate with senior leadership about team progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, with a strong emphasis on specification/ requirement writing
- Proficiency writing user stories and functional specifications for software applications
- Understanding of basic software design concepts and user interface controls
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
- Previous experience using Confluence, JIRA, and/or similar tools required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to write in a clear and concise style
- Proficiency with basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing
- Proactive attitude, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills; strong time management and organizational skills required
