Product Owner

Role Description This full-time Product Owner role at Simon Movilidad is a hybrid position based in the Bogotá D.C. Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Product Owner will manage the product backlog, define and prioritize user stories, and align product initiatives with business goals and stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and refining requirements, participating in sprint planning and reviews, and monitoring product performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvement. The role also involves coordinating with software development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery, supporting testing and validation of new features, and communicating product updates and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess product performance, and support evidence-based decisions.
• Proficiency in product management, including backlog ownership, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management.
• Experience in business analysis for gathering requirements, mapping processes, and translating needs into clear specifications.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and conveying complex information clearly.
• Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies to work closely with engineering teams.
• Experience working in or with mobility, transportation, or tech-driven service platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing on-site collaboration and remote work effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in Spanish; working proficiency in English is an advantage.
