As Product Owner – Digital Information Protection (DIP), your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the daily operation and continuous evolution of the global Digital Information Protection service, ensuring alignment with business risk, compliance, and operational needs;
• Own and prioritize the DIP product backlog and roadmap, translating Legal, Compliance, Security, HR, IT, and business requirements into clear deliverables;
• Evaluate Microsoft Purview capabilities and new Microsoft releases, helping define use cases, requirements, testing, implementation, and ongoing service improvements;
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, Legal, Compliance, HR, IT Security, Microsoft support, and external vendors to keep the service reliable, effective, and business aligned;
• Work closely with Avanade and internal support teams on case follow-up, first-level triage, escalations, solution design, and implementation support;
• Support key information protection capabilities such as sensitivity labels, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, and Microsoft 365 audit and reporting;
• Provide functional direction to resources supporting the service, coordinating priorities and workloads without direct people management responsibility;
• Drive documentation, user enablement, knowledge sharing, and service improvements to help teams use information protection capabilities effectively;
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate operations, and scale the service through advanced technologies and AI-enabled capabilities.

We expect you to have the following educational background:

• Higher education in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Data Governance or related fields is recommended;
• Microsoft, Azure, Security, Compliance, or Data Governance certifications will be considered a plus.

We are looking for candidates with the following technical skills:

• Experience with Information Protection, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Compliance, Microsoft Security, Product Ownership, Service Ownership, or comparable responsibilities;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security solutions, or similar Information Protection, Data Governance, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, or Compliance platforms;
• Ability to manage priorities, backlog, roadmap, requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation follow-up for a technical service or platform;
• Experience working with stakeholders from IT, Legal, Compliance, HR, Security, business areas, external vendors, and technical delivery teams;
• Ability to support complex technical issue follow-up, vendor coordination, documentation, user enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Experience in mid-size or large environments with multiple locations and complex information security needs is highly valuable;
• Advanced / Fluent English for global collaboration and communication.
