Our client is an international software company developing innovative cloud-based solutions that help organizations digitize and optimize critical business processes across Europe.

As their product portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a Product Owner (m/f/x) for their Vienna office to take ownership of a strategic digital product at the intersection of software, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Own and drive the product roadmap, aligning business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and continuously refine the product backlog to maximize business value.
• Act as the key link between customers, business stakeholders, and the development team.
• Support Sales and Marketing activities as the product expert, including customer meetings and go-to-market initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with engineers on solution design, product enhancements, and technical decisions.
• Drive the evolution of an internationally deployed software platform by incorporating customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Who you are

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product-focused role.
• Proven track record of managing and evolving software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong analytical thinking and requirements engineering skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Technical understanding of modern software architectures and cloud platforms, with an interest in AI-supported product development.
• Business-level English is essential. German is a plus.
