Product Owner/ Senior Business Analyst (Arabic Speaker)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst (Arabic Speaker) to lead the development and growth of our SaaS-based insurance technology platform. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs, customer expectations, and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and customer-centric product solutions.

Candidates with experience in the Insurance industry, particularly Motor Insurance, will be highly preferred. The role requires close collaboration with customers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to define product strategy and execute the product roadmap.

Location

• Remote role; candidates can be based in Bahrain or other locations.
• Candidates must be willing to travel to Bahrain as required for customer meetings, workshops, project activities, or business engagements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders and teams across different time zones is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SaaS platform.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and product documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality product releases.
• Conduct customer workshops, product discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering meetings in Arabic and English.
• Drive product enhancements, feature development, and platform innovation initiatives.
• Monitor customer feedback, product adoption, and usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with implementation and support teams to understand market needs and customer challenges.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and product demonstrations.
• Ensure timely delivery of product features while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.
• Stay updated on insurance industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or related product role.
• Experience managing SaaS products or enterprise software platforms.
• Experience working with insurance companies, brokers, TPAs, or InsurTech solutions.
• Understanding of insurance business processes, preferably within the Motor Insurance domain.

Product Management Skills

• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum product management.
• Expertise in product backlog management and prioritization.
• Ability to define product roadmaps and translate customer needs into product features.
• Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and customer groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing product releases and feature rollouts.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Language Skills

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
