Job Description

We are looking for our next team member who will contribute to build our expertise in Private Debt in Switzerland.

Your main responsibilities:

- Credit research

Leads the research framework to source, identify and analyse appropriate investment opportunities to be distributed through our network. Opportunities can be: a) direct opportunities for which a credit assessment needs to be performed; or b) debt emitted by third-parties for which a due diligence on the borrower and the issuing company need to be performed.

Has a deep understanding of sub-asset classes witnin Private Debt : direct lending, infrastructure, Real Estate, Trade Finance, CLO, others.

Participates in elaborating educational contents on the private debt markets for internal and external use

- Internal Communication

Leads the coordination of Sales queries relating to Private debt, organising face-to-face meetings or calls for the purpose of presenting a debt opportunity or more broadly the private debt markets to our internal workforce.

- External Communication

Leads the coordination of face-to-face meetings and calls with external parties (emitters, borrowers, clients when asked by our Sales) in order to: either deepen understanding of the identified opportunities or promote Lynceus Partners' expertise in Private Debt externally. Participates in Public Relationship events as and when required, including writing articles for external publications, posts for our LinkedIn page and other communication channels, physical events and conferences.

What experience and background we are looking for:

Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Engineering…
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a credit analyst or a similar position.
A deep knowledge of the private debt markets or a willingness and interest to develop professional competencies in this class of assets
Proficient with the Office suite (Excel and Powerpoint)
The ability and willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Fluent English; other languages would be a plus, with a preference with French.
