Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Production Estimating
• Prepare accurate estimating mark-ups and client quotes in line with pricing strategy.
• Validate estimates for buildability, materials, scope, and cost accuracy.
• Support Sales with complex, high-value, or high-volume tenders.
• Convert won projects into detailed production jobs.
• Complete quantity take-offs and confirm scope against contract documents.
• Define material, labour, subcontractor, and project requirements.
• Prepare Scope of Works and Material Take-Offs.
• Complete job set-up and handover to the construction team.
• Feed construction outcomes and lessons learned back into estimating.
Procurement
• Source competitive pricing for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase orders and track quotes and deliveries.
• Maintain supplier information and pricing databases.
Maintenance & Warranty
• Coordinate warranty, defects, and post-project service requirements.
• Prepare scopes and documentation for Operations.
• Assess responsibility using NCC/BCA and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain records and support the business in resolving disputes.
Contracts Administration & Compliance
• Maintain company and subcontractor certificates of currency and insurance records.
• Track renewals and ensure licences, tickets, certificates, and compliance documents do not expire.
• Prepare and maintain SWMS, inductions, white cards, safety and quality documentation.
• Complete subcontractor packs, prequalification questionnaires, and builder portal submissions.
• Follow up rejected submissions through to acceptance.
• Maintain accurate compliance registers.
Fleet & Document Control
• Maintain the company vehicle register, including registrations, servicing, inspections, tolls, and infringements.
• Coordinate fleet renewals and ensure obligations do not lapse.
• Organise and maintain project documents, drawings, specifications, contracts, and variations.
• Keep registers and tracking systems up to date.
• Liaise with site staff, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve documentation and project issues.


Requirements

• Bluebeam experience is essential.
• Minimum 2 years Australian construction experience; 5 years' production estimating experience preferred.
• Strong production estimating skills across materials, construction methods, sequencing, and quantities.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, shop drawings, and Scope of Works documentation.
• Experience preparing mark-ups and client-facing quotes.
• Construction contracts administration experience, including insurance, compliance, subcontractor documentation, and registers.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction practices and documentation.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple estimating, procurement, and administrative tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies or unclear scope.
• Proactive and able to manage recurring obligations without supervision.
• Experience with Knack, Orbis Nexvia, and HubSpot is desirable, or willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
