About BlueHeart Energy BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry. With our so called 'Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. The Internship Join our manufacturing team and help transform innovative prototypes into scalable manufacturing solutions. You will design and improve production tools, fixtures, and assembly methods that make our products safer, easier, and more efficient to build. This is a hands-on opportunity to combine engineering design with practical implementation in a deep-tech manufacturing environment. Please note: To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled at a university in the Netherlands and remain enrolled as a student until at least February 2027 . What You'll Do Design and improve production tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids Support the optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes Develop concepts, CAD models, prototypes, and technical documentation Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to implement solutions Validate designs through testing and support deployment on the shop floor What We're Looking For Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related HBO program Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar Strong interest in manufacturing, industrialization, and product development Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently Good English communication skills, both written and spokenA passion for sustainability, clean tech, or environmental innovation is important to us!
