Ensource RCM is seeking a skilled full-time Professional Fee (Profee) Coding Specialists with General Surgery experience to join our growing team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of medical coding guidelines, and a commitment to accuracy and quality, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will apply your coding expertise to accurately review and assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes to professional medical services, ensuring compliance with applicable coding guidelines and payer requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Review and accurately code General Surgery professional fee medical records, including operative reports and supporting clinical documentation.
• Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes based on documentation and established coding guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of surgical procedures, modifiers, and evaluation and management services as applicable.
• Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current coding standards and payer policies.
• Identify documentation discrepancies and communicate questions or concerns through established processes.
• Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Stay current on coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of professional fee medical coding experience in the area General Surgery.
• Current medical coding certification required, such as CPC, CCS-P, or an equivalent recognized coding credential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and surgical coding guidelines.
• Experience interpreting operative reports and complex clinical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and continuous learning.
