Professor of Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity

Role Description The Professor of Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity will teach online courses, design and update curricula, and create engaging learning materials for remote learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering live or recorded lectures, facilitating discussions, assessing student work, and providing timely, constructive feedback. The role also involves staying current with developments in AI and cybersecurity, integrating real-world case studies and tools, and contributing to continuous course improvement in collaboration with academic and technical teams. This is a part-time remote role, requiring regular online presence, reliable communication, and adherence to academic schedules while maintaining flexibility in teaching hours.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in artificial intelligence concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, and data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, such as network security, threat analysis, risk management, and secure system design.
• Candidates should possess skills in online teaching, curriculum development, and creating clear, structured instructional materials for remote learners.
• Candidates should possess the ability to use learning management systems, virtual classroom tools, and collaboration platforms effectively.
• Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.
• Ph.D in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Relevant teaching or training experience in higher education or professional settings, especially in online or hybrid formats, is beneficial.
• Relevant industry experience in AI or cybersecurity, professional certifications, and a record of research or applied projects are considered an advantage.
