Profitability & Cost Transformation Senior Manager

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Profitability & Cost Transformation Senior Manager to support international clients in improving profitability, optimising costs and delivering sustainable business value.

This is a senior consulting role combining financial performance, cost transformation, profitability improvement and programme leadership.

• Contract type: B2B
• Location: mostly remote / international environment
• Travel: up to 30% international travel (ability to travel and work within the EU/UK)

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex cost, margin and profitability transformation programmes
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, margin improvement and profitable growth
• Conduct financial and operational diagnostics, benchmarking and profitability analysis
• Design initiatives focused on gross margin, SG&A, third-party costs, pricing and operational efficiency
• Develop transformation roadmaps and support implementation
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Commercial and Strategy
• Lead and mentor project teams
• Contribute to client relationships and business development

Your experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting, finance or business transformation
• Background in a strategy consultancy, Big 4, investment banking, M&A/advisory or similar environment
• Strong experience in cost reduction, profitability, margin improvement and/or operational performance
• Experience leading transformation programmes from diagnostics through implementation
• Strong financial, analytical and commercial skills
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in sectors such as Financial Services, Consumer Products, Energy, Pharma/Life Sciences or Public Sector is an advantage
• ACCA, CIMA, CFA or similar qualification would be a plus
• Fluent English
