What does this job entail?

Join the strategic core program aimed at increasing the STP rate of KBC’s operations. As a Program Manager in the ACE team, you will play a key role in this initiative. ACE stands for Accelerating Efficiencies . We support KBC’s management by critically reviewing existing operations and providing an external perspective. Our focus is on efficiency and process improvements.

One of the programs our team worked on was increasing the STP rate of KBC’s commercial processes. Our non-commercial, supporting processes also need to become more STP. This will free up time for other tasks, reduce friction, improve customer and employee satisfaction, and keep KBC competitive in the long term.

Various departments will collaborate to improve our way of working, supported by process optimization and (Gen, Agentic) AI. Together with your ACE colleagues, you will make a significant contribution to this program by providing strategic input, helping determine which domains and processes should be optimized first, rethinking end-to-end processes, and monitoring progress.

What do we expect from you?

• Develop a broad understanding of KBC’s business model and its key underlying processes.
• Take on diverse assignments combining process improvement techniques with desk research, internal and external benchmarking, and knowledge of technological solutions and trends. Use these insights to design optimal solutions.
• Challenge the status quo, prepare convincing analyses, and persuade management of their potential.
  
  

Your key strengths?

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You communicate clearly and persuasively in Dutch and English. For example, you can deliver impactful presentations, argue a point of view, or respectfully challenge a colleague.
• Thanks to previous project management experience, you excel at organizing, planning, stakeholder management, and process-oriented thinking. Your approach is pragmatic and results-driven.
• Colleagues quickly recognize you as a natural ‘constructor’ and ‘facilitator’. Finding solutions to complex challenges together energizes you. You pay attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• You are familiar with project management methodologies and know how to apply them effectively. You use best practices to address issues and risks.
• Project stakeholders rely on you to keep them informed and aligned.
• During presentations to senior management (Top 300), you strike the right balance between essentials and details, helping them make swift decisions on the solutions you propose.
