Program Manager – Payments Ireland | Remote | €370 per day | 12-Month Contract


Hiring an experienced Program Manager – Product Delivery to join a leading global technology organisation and play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale commerce and Point of Sale (POS) technology platform.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work across Product, Engineering, Operations, Billing, Go-to-Market, Customer Support and Compliance, coordinating multiple workstreams and keeping everyone aligned towards successful delivery.


The Opportunity You’ll act as the central coordination point across a defined programme, ensuring plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables remain on track.

You’ll be responsible for bringing together technical and business teams, identifying risks and blockers early, facilitating resolution and providing clear visibility of programme health to key stakeholders.

This is not a hands-on software development role. Instead, you’ll be the person connecting the dots across multiple teams and ensuring that different workstreams operate as one cohesive programme.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and manage integrated programme plans, schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple technical and business workstreams.
• Track dependencies, deliverables and critical path activities.
• Monitor progress and drive accountability for agreed commitments.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and blockers.
• Support launch readiness and key programme milestones.
• Facilitate programme meetings, working sessions and stakeholder forums.
• Produce clear programme updates, dashboards and status reports.
• Maintain RAID, risk, issue, dependency and decision logs.
• Coordinate communication across Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Billing, Customer Support and Compliance.
• Support programme governance and ensure actions are followed through.
• Contribute to retrospectives, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Identify ways to improve delivery processes, collaboration and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in Program Management, Project Management or Delivery Management.
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology or software programmes.
• Background in software, SaaS, payments, fintech, retail technology, commerce or a related industry.
• Proven experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, issues and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with a real focus on execution.
• Excellent communication skills across both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to influence and coordinate teams without direct authority.
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

Desirable Experience

• Point of Sale (POS), payments, commerce, retail or hospitality technology.
• Agile software delivery environments.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Global or distributed teams.
• Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum or similar certification.
