We are seeking a skilled Cobol Developer eager to take on new challenges in a hybrid work model in Lisbon.

Are you the one?

• Over 10 years of experience in Mainframe development and application analysis.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL and Control-M.
• Experience in technical analysis, application development, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in production support, incident resolution and accounting discrepancy analysis.
• Experience in unit and system testing.
• Availability for night-time batch processing support on a rotational on-call basis.
• Experience in the banking and Credit domain.
• Knowledge of mortgage and subsidized loans, bill discounting, guarantees and credit recovery.
• Understanding of credit contract management, interest calculations and repayments.
• Knowledge of accounting processes related to credit applications.
• Knowledge of EDz, ALM Quality Center and BMC Remedy.
• Familiarity with CMMI and LEAN IT methodologies.
• Previous experience in corrective and evolutionary maintenance of banking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomy, accountability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Focus on quality, system stability and service continuity.
