Fixed Term Contract: 9 Months

Oritain is a global leader in forensic origin verification of products and raw materials. With offices in London, Auckland, Dunedin, Paris, Singapore and Washington D.C, our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains.

Through our proprietary methodology, our mission is to harness cutting edge science, data, and specialised services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet. We empower the world’s leading brands to make positive changes across their supply chain; ensuring product integrity, meeting regulatory demands, and reducing the risk of fraud and unethical sourcing, creating real change in our world.

About the role:

At Oritain, we use science to prove where products really come from, helping some of the world’s biggest brands build supply chains they can trust. As we grow, turning big ideas into real, lasting change is critical to our success, and that’s where you come in.

As Programme Manager, Enterprise Execution, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of our highest-priority programmes. You’ll work directly with our Director of Continuous Improvement & Transformation and our Programme Director, taking strategy and executive decisions and turning them into clear, integrated plans that actually get delivered.

This isn’t a role where the job ends at go-live. You’ll make sure change lands with the people it affects, is handed over cleanly into business as usual, and delivers measurable benefits. You’ll work across functions and regions, bringing together teams who don’t report to you and keeping everyone moving in the same direction.

You’ll also have a real hand in shaping how Oritain delivers change. Our enterprise execution function is still growing, so alongside delivering programmes, you’ll help build the standards, tools and ways of working that allow it to scale. If you enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity and want to see the impact of your work across a fast-growing, science-led business, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of assigned cross-functional programmes end to end, for the responsible director, maintaining one integrated plan with clear milestones, dependencies and critical path.
  • Run day-to-day programme controls in line with the enterprise execution model: delivery cadence, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, a decisions log and change control, and prepare concise reporting for the relevant steering committee and the accountable executive, through the responsible director.
  • Baseline and track programme benefits with the Business Analyst, using Oritain's benefits rules and validated by Finance, and evidence them at close and at the 3- and 6-month checks.
  • Engage stakeholders across functions and regions, supporting the directors with executive stakeholders, and communicate clearly between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the people side of change, working with the directors, People & Culture and functional leads: change impact by team, readiness, and clear communication to colleagues about why we are changing, what it means for them and what has been achieved.
  • Plan and secure the capacity the programme needs from contributing functions, surfacing conflicts early through the change-load view and escalating to the responsible director where priorities compete.
  • Track programme spend against budget and forecast with Finance, and manage third-party and partner inputs where relevant.
  • Protect quality and certification throughout: route changes to certified methods and scope through change control, with Quality involved from the start.
  • Close work properly: exit criteria met, handover signed by a named owner, a one-page close-out record, and lessons captured in the delivery playbook.
  • Apply Oritain's common standards (structured problem-solving, benefits rules, launch standard, people and change) and contribute to improving them; support workstream leads in using them.
  • Take on further programmes as portfolio priorities change, and support the qualification of new initiatives through the single entry point.

What we're looking for

Essential
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-workstream programmes end to end across several functions and sites, ideally internationally, from mobilisation through to adoption and closure.
  • Strong programme controls: integrated planning, dependency and critical-path management, risk and issue management, governance and change control, applied pragmatically and with agile principles: the lightest approach that works.
  • Experience tracking and evidencing benefits against a baseline, working with Finance.
  • Skilled at building trust and influence without formal authority, from senior executives to frontline teams, and at communicating clearly between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting the people side of change: impact assessment, readiness, communication and transition into business as usual.
  • Comfortable building processes and standards while delivering, in a growing business with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Confident with data: able to build and read simple measures and dashboards to track progress and make decisions.
Desirable
  • Experience in a laboratory, science-led, regulated or supply chain environment.
  • Experience of multi-site integration or a systems implementation.
  • A recognised programme or change qualification (e.g. MSP, PgMP, APM PMQ, AgilePM, Prosci) or Lean / continuous improvement training, or equivalent depth of experience.
  • Experience in a high-growth business, including helping to establish a delivery or transformation function.

What you'll get

  • Hybrid working (minimum 3 days per week in our Farringdon office)
  • 35 days paid leave, inclusive of public holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • Life insurance
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Pension
  • Monthly Wellbeing Allowance
  • Breakfast, snacks, Friday lunch and barista coffee in the office
  • Learning portal with over 100,000 assets for professional development
