ASC International - Aquaculture Stewardship Council is an independent, non-profit organisation, originally founded by WWF in 2010. We are committed to continuous improvement of global seafood farming practices towards environmental and social sustainability.
Full-time, permanent. Remote & flexible working.
Why this role?
Are you exceptionally organised and thrive on making things run smoothly? Do you want to use your coordination skills to support a global organisation making a difference?
This is a new role, supporting the wider Technical Operations Department, with an initial focus on coordinating ASC’s international events programme and providing essential support for document management and internal systems.
You’ll play an important part in bringing people together across our global organisation, coordinating events and helping colleagues access the information, systems and processes they need to work effectively. From supporting international meetings and events to maintaining accurate records and improving internal ways of working, you’ll help ensure that projects and programmes run smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in a job well done and is keen to develop their skills in an international, purpose-driven organisation.
The Team
The Policy and Programme Management team supports ASC’s key strategic initiatives and helps ensure our standards and programmes remain credible, effective and fit for purpose.
In 2027, the team will play an important role in driving the uptake of ASC’s new Farm Standard, supporting farms around the world as they transition towards best practices. The team also maintains ASC’s Quality Management System, leading on processes that underpin the quality and effectiveness of our work.

- Support event delivery on the day and resolve routine issues promptly
- Collect feedback, reconcile costs and maintain accurate event records
Document Control
- Develop and manage a central system for document control requests
- Process document control requests, including quality review
- Manage the internal controlled document master list (CDML) and maintain the document filing system
- Maintain a document revision framework and facilitate the document revision schedule alongside document owners
- Provide support for the new document development platform (CCMS)
Internal Systems and Programme Support
- Develop and maintain internal planning and management tools (CRM, Monday.com)
- Maintain complaints and feedback logs, handling incoming submissions and ensuring the process steps are followed
- Meeting support – drafting agendas, collating meeting packs, taking meeting records, facilitating attendance and travel arrangements
- Manage document translation requests and the translation process
- Carry out other reasonable duties to support the effective work of the team
Profile:
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience of event coordination, administration or a similar support role
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with structured processes and records
- Competence with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and shared document systems
- A practical, flexible and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and collaborate effectively
- Discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Bonus if you have:
- Experience working with translation providers, multilingual documents and document management systems
- Experience working remotely in an international organisation
- Experience supporting online event platforms or basic procurement and budget administration
Most importantly, you’ll be enthusiastic, dependable and motivated to make a positive contribution. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in delivering high-quality support and be energised by helping a global team achieve its goals.
