Founded in 2022, Everfield has an ecosystem presence in 7 countries, and growing.
About us
Depotnet is a provider of work management software for the utilities, and infrastructure space. We are a team of 50+ people based in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire.
Our team is made up of people with software & technology backgrounds, and others with deep expertise in the end-markets we serve. We all share a common goal, which is to be the number one SaaS solution in the utilities and infrastructure space.
We are a passionate team who genuinely enjoy working together, and it shows in how we operate. We set a high bar because we're proud of what we do, and we know how important it is to our customers and the critical work which they deliver, building and maintaining the UK's infrastructure.
Depotnet joined Everfield in 2023
About the Role
The Program / Delivery Manager owns the sprint cycle end to end for Depotnet - taking signed-off change requests and roadmap items and turning them into a sprint plan the development team can deliver against, on time and to the expected quality.
What you will do:
Own the sprint cycle end to end, from planning through to release
Take signed-off change requests (CRs) and roadmap items prioritised by our Product and Client teams and turn them into an actionable sprint plan
Run sprint planning, allocating work across developers and contractors against known capacity
Protect the sprint from mid-flight scope changes, working alongside the Tech Director and Heads of Tech to keep delivery on track
Plan QA windows and UAT alongside the delivery schedule
Own the release schedule and resource availability planning
We Are Looking For:
Strong capacity planning skills - able to allocate work across developers and contractors against known constraints
Comfortable saying no politely and protecting the team from mid-flight scope creep
Enough technical literacy to challenge an estimate and hold your own in a conversation with developers
Fluency with Azure DevOps
A dynamic, energetic approach - genuinely up for a challenge, with the resilience to manage a huge range of competing priorities
Confidence holding your own with senior stakeholders, balanced with the rapport-building of a natural team player
Interview Process:
Here's what to expect and who you'll meet during the recruitment process:
First interview with Talent Acquisition Manager Holly (0.5h)
Second interview with Operations Director Michelle Morgan (45mins)
Final interview with Technical Director Ben Squibb (1h)
