We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Accountant to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting engineering and design projects through accurate financial reporting and analysis. What a day at EXP has in store for you Manage project accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Prepare and review monthly project financial reports and variance analyses. Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and client contract requirements. Collaborate with project managers to monitor financial performance and resolve discrepancies. Process invoices, track billings, and manage accounts receivable for assigned projects. Support internal audits and assist with year-end financial processes. What your experience looks like Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3 –5 years of experience in project accounting or financial management, preferably in engineering or construction. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and project cost control. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Deltek or similar preferred). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. CPA designation or working toward CPA is an asset. This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization. The salary range for this role is between $7 5 K - $ 8 0K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
