With a team across Dallas, Austin, and Fort Worth, the firm delivers innovative Architecture, Interior Design, and Planning solutions across the United States and has earned national recognition for design excellence across more than 125 projects. They are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their Commercial & Hospitality Studio, driving the successful delivery of complex architectural solutions with creativity, precision, and strong team leadership. THE OPPORTUNITY The firm is seeking an experienced and driven Project Architect to join its Commercial & Hospitality Studio. This is a leadership role for an architect who is equally at home refining a design concept and managing the technical and organizational complexity of delivering it. You will lead a team, own client relationships, and ensure the quality and success of every project phase from early design through construction completion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead architectural design phases from concept through completion, ensuring all work adheres to client specifications and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, construction managers, and clients to facilitate seamless, well-coordinated project execution Develop and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to stakeholders with clarity and confidence Manage and mentor a team of architects and draftspersons, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and design excellence Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure full adherence to industry standards, best practices, and applicable codes Maintain project schedules and budgets across all design and construction phases, proactively identifying and resolving issues Build and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction at every stage of project delivery REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 8-15 years of experience leading commercial and hospitality architecture projects Experience mentoring architects and drafters Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp Professional registration preferred Experience across all design and construction phases, including coordination of consultant engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, and MEP Experience preparing construction documentation for architectural projects Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and compliance processes, including QA/QC and permitting workflows Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience managing project schedules, budgets, and project teams across multiple projects simultaneously Experience managing client relationships and presenting design proposals and feasibility studies to clients and project stakeholders Experience resolving coordination issues and clashes with consultants during design and construction documentation is a plus
