The Opportunity The Project Controls Scheduler will work collaboratively with the project manager and the project team to develop, manage, and control project schedules for utility-scale transmission energy projects across various life-cycle phases, from development through commercial operation. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with Project Management and the project team. What You'll Do Develop, monitor, and update project schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible Manage numerous project schedules evaluating critical path, schedule content, relationships and logic, constraints, and milestones Assess impacts to the schedule critical path activities; report deviations and variances and assist in the developing action plans for corrective measures Track scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance Track, manage, report change control for project scope and schedule Present project schedules to project management and project teams Document and track project meeting actions as directed Attend and facilitate project/management meetings as required Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project manager and project team Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills Consistently produce results that meet goals, have high work standards, and understand the business environment and processes Achieve results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner Strive for individual excellence by seeking challenges and self-development, demonstrating high levels of expertise and showing commitment, self-confidence, and integrity What We Expect from You Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 3 years relevant project scheduling experience in the utility, energy, construction, or engineering field Experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software is desired Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communication with project management team Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Must have authorization to work legally in Costa Rica for any employer.
