Job Title: Project Coordination Associate

Monthly Pay: $3,721 - $5,558 USD per month

Summary:

Each shift begins with reviewing project requests, checking upcoming deadlines, and identifying updates that need attention. This entry-level role supports project coordination by keeping task details clear, helping colleagues stay informed, and making progress visible across routine business projects. The position sits within the project management team, works under a project manager, and collaborates with task owners, department contacts, and other project associates. The position is fully remote, with work from home in Missouri, United States, and all responsibilities performed at a desk. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming email requests and shared task queues at the start of each shift, identifying new assignments, approaching deadlines, and unanswered questions.
  • Check each request for a clear objective, task owner, target date, and supporting information before adding it to the project plan.
  • Enter approved tasks and updates in a project management tool such as Asana, keeping descriptions, ownership, dependencies, and completion dates current.
  • Confirm priorities with the project manager and organize assigned coordination activities without independently changing project scope, resources, or delivery commitments.
  • Arrange project check-ins, circulate discussion topics, and confirm that participants have the information needed to discuss progress and next steps.
  • Capture decisions, action items, assigned owners, and due dates during discussions, then share concise notes with the relevant project contacts.
  • Request progress updates from task owners, compare responses with planned milestones, and follow up when information is missing or deadlines approach.
  • Flag blocked tasks, conflicting dates, and unresolved questions to the project manager, explaining the issue and which activities may be affected.
  • Prepare routine progress summaries and support project handoffs by confirming completed tasks, outstanding actions, and where colleagues can find project information.
  • Review work against expectations for accuracy, timely updates, complete notes, and consistent follow-up, then correct discrepancies before closing assigned coordination tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required; related experience supporting projects, organizing shared tasks, or assisting a business team is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of project objectives, milestones, task dependencies, and the difference between an assigned action and an approved project change.
  • Familiarity with a project management tool such as Asana is preferred, along with willingness to learn established templates and update procedures.
  • Ability to organize project information, verify dates and task ownership, and recognize missing details before sharing an update.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for requesting updates, summarizing decisions, and raising questions with colleagues and the project manager.
  • Ability to follow instructions, handle internal project information carefully, and ask for guidance when priorities or responsibilities are unclear.
  • A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Fully remote work from home in Missouri, with desk-based responsibilities and collaboration through shared online systems.
  • Structured onboarding and training on a project management tool such as Asana, including task updates, project notes, and handoff procedures.
  • Regular check-ins with the project manager serving as team lead to review priorities, answer questions, and discuss feedback.
  • Opportunities to build project administration, project documentation, milestone awareness, and practical coordination skills through everyday assignments.
  • Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), bonus opportunities, and stipends.
