Job Description
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates EHR projects and ensures project initiatives and timelines are met. Develops project initiation process by creating project plans and timetables, and tracking execution and workflow; prepares, presents, and distributes project status reports
- Builds and maintains working relationships with customers, team members, vendors and other departments involved in the projects
- Supports the Engagement Leader and the Project Team by monitoring assigned project implementations; ensures deadlines are met, escalates issues for appropriate, timely resolution and adheres to standardized project management
- Serves as liaison to project sponsors, project teams and stakeholders; works with internal, external groups to optimize success of project deployment
- Works on various assignments that require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action
- Performs related duties as required
Requirements
- At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably with EHR implementations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel
- Able to travel to client sites as needed
- Good social and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High self-initiative with the ability to work well and adhere to deadlines
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
- Results driven, focused on achieving results and navigating complex healthcare environments and needs.
- A bachelor's degree in any field of study.
- Experience as an EHR Project Manager
- PMP Certification
Willingness to travel:
