Context
We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Project Management Officer (PMO) to support a multi-workstream programme.
In this role, you will help ensure that commitments, deliverables, milestones and dependencies are followed up effectively across the programme. You will act as a central coordination point for day-to-day activities, working closely with stakeholders to keep planning on track, identify risks early and ensure actions are completed on time.
Responsibilities
-Track deliverables, milestones and deadlines across multiple workstreams.
-Proactively follow up with action owners to ensure commitments are delivered on time.
-Maintain and update action, decision, risk and issue logs (RAID logs), ensuring outstanding items are followed through to closure.
-Organise and facilitate recurring project meetings, working groups and steering committees.
-Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
-Escalate blockers, delays and unresponsive stakeholders to the Programme Manager or Sponsor when needed.
-Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure timely handovers between workstreams.
-Monitor adherence to the programme plan and timeline, identify deviations early and support corrective actions.
-Support resource planning and tracking, including follow-up with team leads on capacity and availability.
-Prepare status reports and dashboards for management and steering-committee audiences.
-Ensure the consistent use of programme documentation, templates and governance processes.
-Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to obtain timely input, sign-offs and deliverables.
-Act as the central point of contact for day-to-day programme-coordination matters.
Required Skills and Experience
-At least 2 years of experience as a PMO, Project Coordinator or in a similar project/programme-support role.
-Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in a project or programme environment.
-Hands-on experience maintaining RAID logs and driving actions, risks, issues and decisions through to closure.
-Experience preparing status reports and dashboards for management or steering-committee level.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly for reporting, tracking and presentation purposes.
-Strong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
-Ability to work independently, take ownership and remain aligned with broader programme objectives.
-Assertive and diplomatic approach, with the confidence to follow up persistently and escalate issues when deadlines are at risk.
-Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
-Structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
-Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
-Exposure to Agile/Scrum ways of working.
-Experience supporting large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programmes.
-Basic knowledge of process-modelling tools and notations, such as BPMN or Visio.
-Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Working Conditions
-Hybrid working model: 50% on-site and 50% remote.
