Job Summary: This position coordinates the end-to-end execution of initiatives for the company. In this role, you will be the core bridge connecting our cross-functional teams—product innovation, sourcing, procurement, operations, customer service, regulatory, marketing, and sales—to take pet product innovations from concept to retail shelves. Additionally, you will drive the operational onboarding and launch execution for new business wins, major retail accounts, and international expansion channels. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project schedules, map critical paths, and track milestone dependencies using project management software. Drive the operational tactical execution for newly secured business, ensuring supply chain, warehouse logistics, and fulfillment processes are ready to support volume demands and expected timelines. Coordinate with internal sales and external buyer teams to map out electronic data interchange (EDI) setups, logistics guidelines, routing guides, and compliance standards for new retail accounts. Develop and maintain the tracking of the commercialization timeline for new product development, tracking progress across cross functional teams. Coordinate the execution of private label modifications, club store multi-packs, exclusive SKUs, and custom point-of-purchase merchandising displays. Act as the primary coordinator between product development, sourcing, legal/regulatory, design, and sales and other teams to ensure flawless launch synchronization. Proactively identify project delays, resource constraints, or supply chain bottlenecks, implementing swift mitigation strategies to keep launches on schedule. Coordinate artwork and packaging specifications to meet strict animal feed, pet supplement, or pet toy safety standards and individual retailer guidelines. Provide clear, routine status updates, risk assessments, and post-launch evaluation reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Required Skills & Abilities: Lives the company values of integrity, efficiency, accountability, collective intelligence, and transparency. Deep understanding of stage-gate product development processes, manufacturing lead times, retail routing guides, and display standards (e.g., PDQs, pallets, sidekicks). Proficiency with modern project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or Jira, alongside MS Excel. Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and matrix management capabilities, with extreme attention to detail. Education & Experience: 3–5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a CPG environment; background in pet care, animal health, or food/beverage industries is highly preferred. Proven track record of successfully onboarding major retail accounts (e.g., Target, Petco, Chewy, Walmart) and working through vendor compliance portals. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. PMP or Scrum Master certification is a strong plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Occasional travel may be required.
